25/7/06 Following Mark Harber's decision to join the ride, he was taken around Richmond Park for a scorching 6 lap training ride, with Snowy, Isaacs and Dan. The training is really in full swing now, despite hot weather making it a real slog. Bring on Scotland!
Let's hope Mark's intensive training whilst on holiday in Cornwall will reap benefits. He can now eat three sausages at once, down a can of 5% lager in five seconds and sleep on a blow up bed which has no air in it. He has developed his sence of direction so well that he can find a Costa Coffee within a 50 mile radius. Good luck. Mick
The world is a much better place because of people like you who are willing to give up their time and energy for good causes. Good luck to you all and the support team. Tomorrow the hard work begins, so stay focused give each other support. You are all hero's.
I hope John O'G has welcomed you, sleep well and have a brilliant first day tomorrow. Loads of people are rooting for you....and remember, pain is good! So they tell me! LOL Mrs F.S.T.R.

You have achieved an amazing task, I dread to think of how annoying you will all be on your return, but as you can imagine you will be hitting the ground running........will be good to have you back...i think.
Congratulations to you all on a fantastic achievement and not forgetting the reason that you did all this. Lets hope you raised plenty of money along the way.
Well, its all behind us now. What a trip, none of us came through unscathed.Money is now coming in thick and fast. The team would again like to thank our superb back up crew,Brian "Daddy" Hook and Johnny "Easy Professor" Gleeson. We simply could not have done it without you.The team were great (especially Mark Harber) at keeping me going through an annoying foot injury which I acquired on day 2.Thanks also to Helen, Martin's Mrs for letting us use her horsebox for our transport/support vehicle. Now I can let my backside get better.Lastly, thankyou to everybody who has sponsored us,both on and offline.
Thanks is also due to Dan's mum and Dad, Mr and Mrs Brown ,for giving up their time to support us for two days. Big shout to Dan's mum for agreeing that Dan does indeed look like a German Army battle commander.
